In August 2004, a few months upon settleling in Canada, flamenco and contemporary dancer Maria Osende, premiered at the Ross Creek Centre for the Arts together with local flamenco musicans Joey Latta, Fred Scott and Ken Shorley obtaining great success, which lead to several further performances in Halifax and around the province.
