Dance as Ever began in 1993 with the premiere of four new works by Mr. Witchel. Since its founding, the company produced more than 25 new ballets in repertory. Christopher Adams (joined Cedar Lake 2004) hails from South Africa. He trained at the Toynbee Ballet School and the Johannesburg School of the Arts. He has performed with Ballet Theatre Afrikan, where he danced works by various African and European choreographers, and the South African Ballet Theatre, where his roles included the Peasant Pas de Deux from “Giselle.” In 2001 Adams won the Nelson Mandela/Sainsbury scholarship to study at the Rambert School of Ballet in London, England. - [Read more]

The Capital Ballet Company is a semi-professional dance company, providing a rich environment for local dancers as well as a performing outlet for students. The company also presents lecture/demonstrations to student groups and performances to senior citizens and the handicapped. - [Read more]
